Western Pole

Western Pole is an ongoing project curated by Jesse Malmed which periodically features an original flyer by different artists. The flyers are taped to the same light post on the corner of North Western Ave. and West Iowa St. in Chicago.

For my submission to Western Pole, I diagrammed this single couplet poem by EE Cummings:

guilt is the cause of more disauders

than history’s most obscene marorders

The shape of the diagram pays homage to Cummings' experimentation with the page as a fluid, spatial format.
